We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented person to join the Monks Finance team. Your main mission will be to provide operational support to the accounting team, ensuring that all documentation and basic records are up to date to facilitate monthly closings and decision-making.
It is an ideal position for someone who is taking their first steps and wants to understand how the financial engine of a global creative company works from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Document Management: Organization and uploading of invoices, receipts, and tax vouchers into our accounting system.
- Data Validation: Reviewing that supplier invoices comply with internal and local tax requirements.
- Accounts Payable Support: Assisting in the tracking of payments to suppliers and resolving basic queries regarding account statements.
- Expense Control: Assisting in the review of employee expense reports (travel & expenses) to ensure they have the correct supporting documentation.
- Database Maintenance: Updating supplier catalogs and assisting in data cleaning in Excel.
- Administrative Tasks: General support in audit requirements (searching for policies, scanning documents, or downloading bank reports).
Requirements
- Students in the academic stage: Accounting, Business Administration, or related careers.
- Essential Excel: Fluent handling of filters, basic functions (SUM, IF, VLOOKUP), and data sorting.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to quickly detect errors in numbers or dates.
- Service Attitude: Willingness to learn operational processes and support the team in repetitive but critical tasks.
- Basic-Intermediate English: Ability to understand accounting terms in English and navigate systems that are in that language.
