Your tasks

Global financial controlling and reporting As Group Controller, you will join the group controlling team and work with the preparation and consolidation of monthly internal financial statements, budgets, and year-end external financial statements. You will validate financial figures across group companies and work closely with finance teams in Denmark and Finance Managers worldwide.

Specific work tasks

• Controlling and reviewing of a broad variety of Danish entities within various industries.
• Participating in preparation of internal reporting to Management and the Board of Directors.
• Participating in the preparation of the group annual report and the year-end process for a broad variety of Danish entities.
• Further develop and maintain group-related controlling and review processes, ensuring lean and effective procedures.
• Building and maintaining strong relations with internal stakeholders.
• Participating in budget and estimate processes.
• Act as sparring partner for the group accounting team.
• Analysing group financial performance and development.
• Preparing audit material.
• Assisting with the quality assurance of consolidated figures.
• Assisting group Tax with corporate income tax returns.

Requirements

Ambitious and curious financial profile with strong interpersonal skills

We expect you to hold a cand.merc.aud or HD-R and have at least three years of experience as an auditor working with international clients. Experience from a similar role in an international organisation is an advantage. You know Danish accounting requirements and IFRS, have strong skills in Excel, ERP, consolidation and BI tools, and you communicate fluently in Danish and English.

Other

Based in Fredericia, you will report to the Group Finance Director and join a group finance team of 10 employees. The role includes 5-10 travel days a year and offers flexibility regarding working from home.
