Translator

Do you have Ukrainian as your native language and a great interest in language and communication? Do you want to help make Monitor ERP accessible to more users internationally? Then the role of Translator might be for you.

As a Translator, you will become part of Team Documentation at our headquarters in Hudiksvall. You will work closely with our development and marketing departments, handle assignments from various departments within the organization, and assist our subsidiaries in other countries.

Your main task is to translate and localize Monitor ERP into Ukrainian, as well as proofread and quality assure AI-translated texts. The texts vary from user interfaces, technical documentation, and manuals to training and marketing material. You are responsible for ensuring consistent terminology and high linguistic quality in all material.

In this role, you collaborate with internal stakeholders and external translation resources to ensure that our texts are of high quality and adapted for the Ukrainian market.

Who are you?

You have a genuine interest in language and communication as well as a very good sense of how texts should be formulated for different target audiences. You are meticulous, structured, and enjoy working with details without losing the overall perspective.

You work independently, take responsibility for your deliveries, and have a good ability to prioritize when multiple tasks compete for your time. At the same time, you appreciate collaboration and are happy to contribute your expertise in dialogue with colleagues from different parts of the business.

To thrive in the role, you should recognize yourself in the following:

• You have very good knowledge of Ukrainian and English and express yourself well in speech and writing.
• Knowledge of Swedish is a merit.
• You have a relevant university education or equivalent work experience.
• You have a great interest in language, translation, and localization.
• You work carefully, structurally, and enjoy meeting deadlines.
• It is a merit if you have experience with ERP systems and/or CAT tools, for example Trados Studio or Crowdin.
