CIVIL ENGINEER

Your tasks

Lead project planning and monitoring to ensure construction works meet customer requirements and specifications. Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes and manage technical documentation and claims efficiently.

• Plan and monitor project schedules to ensure timely progress and completion
• Collaborate with drafters to perform quality checks on all drawings before site construction
• Ensure execution of works, products, and services comply with customer requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Identify and direct immediate remedial actions for any non-conformances discovered during project execution
• Liaise effectively with project teams, authorities, clients, architects, and contractors to facilitate smooth project delivery
• Attend and contribute to project meetings including kick-off, progress, technical, safety, and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Conduct periodic inspections of construction works to verify compliance and quality standards
• Prepare technical documents such as work schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and safe work procedures
• Prepare tender documents, bill of quantities (B.Q.) calculations, monthly progress claims, variation order (VO) claims, and as-built drawings

Requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building and construction-related fields

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing technical documents, tender submissions, and project reports
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
