Maintenance in Charge Electrical & Electronics - B2B Recycle PET (rPET) Company: Polytanks Ghana Business Unit: Ghana Job Location: Manufacturing, Plastics & Packaging 2 days left Company: Polytanks Ghana (Ghana) – rPET Division Reports to: Operations Head Role summary: The purpose of the Job is to achieve – prolonged life of machines, minimize machine down time, maintain critical spares and take complete ownership of maintaining the health of plant and machineries within B2B recycling division. Key Activities Include Maintenance Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement a comprehensive electrical maintenance schedule. Ensure all electrical maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with industry standards. Monitor and evaluate the performance of electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshooting And Repairs
Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions. Oversee and perform repairs on electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime. Coordinate with production teams to resolve electrical problems promptly.
Preventive Maintenance
Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Team Management
Lead, train, and mentor a team of electrical technicians. Assign tasks and ensure that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Compliance And Safety
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits. Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives. Stay updated with the latest electrical technologies and industry best practices. Implement new technologies and techniques to enhance factory performance.
Budget Management
Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Key Performance Indicators
Ensuring optimum utilization of the Plant Capacity Ensuring timely execution of the Preventive Maintenance Controlling costs Minimizing down time Ensuring proper housekeeping, cleanliness and hygiene on the shopfloor/workshop Ensuring all safety norms are always followed
Position’s Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 8 - 12 years of working experience in recycle PET industry, knowledge of Boretech Washline/ Starlinger Recostar machine is mandatory.
