Develop activities such as:

  • Assist, coordinate and carry out maintenance activities so as to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant and machinery, and all instrument / control systems under the guidelines of the Maintenance Supervisor / Superintendent;
  • Perform regular rounds, check machinery areas and all equipment in the engine room, main deck / topsides, repair any defects and report (Root Cause Analysis) as necessary. Assist in other tasks requested by the Maintenance Superintendent;
  • Ensure proper watchkeeping and monitoring of all equipment and rapid response to alarms and equipment shutdowns;
  • Supervise the oiler / worker and other team members in the execution of maintenance activities, including machinery and equipment related to the Maintenance and Catering Departments and emergency equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in this role;
  • High School completed;
  • STCW III/1 or III/2;
  • Advanced English;
