RADIO OPERATOR / Radio Operator

Responsible for maintaining effective radio surveillance, efficiently managing external communications (helicopters, boats, and the coast) and internal communications, and controlling the POB according to the OIM's instructions, with the aim of ensuring safe radio surveillance and efficient communications for the assigned unit.

Responsibilities and duties We are looking for a professional for the Radio Operator position to work in an Offshore opportunity.

To develop activities such as: Perform internal and external communication according to the OIM's instructions and needs. Control the aircraft POB. Transmission and receipt of documents; Inform the OIM about flight delays or cancellations; Ensure that air traffic control radio communications in VHF and SSB are sent and received in the vicinity of the terminal; Administer the discipline that must be followed in the area for helicopters and ships passing through the region; Act as Administrative Assistant and the OIM's ground team; Prepare timesheets and overtime for the entire Brazilian crew; Attend to emergency communications in case of distress, such as: MAYDAY, PANPAN and SECURITE; Organize all crew safety and flag-related documents to maintain records in each Seaman’s Record Book;

Requirements: High school diploma completed; Previous experience in the role; GMDSS; CNS 014; HT; CBSP and Huet; Fluent English.

Prepare timesheet and overtime for all Brazilian crew. Attendance of emergency communication in case of distress as: MAYDAY, PANPAN and SECURITE. Organize all the crew safe and documents relating to the flag to record in Seaman's book collaborator.

Requeriments: High School Degree Experience in the function GMDSS; CNS 014; HT; BST and Huet; Fluent English
