Group Lead, CMMS

Your tasks

RolePurpose The Group Lead, CMMS leads the CMMS team and ensures safe, efficient, and optimized system operations across offshore facilities. The role provides technical and operational support, identifies value-adding opportunities, and works with facility, shore-based, project, vendor, and engineering teams to define and resolve maintenance and operational issues.

The position also provides operational input for new and converted FPSO and FSO projects, while managing the CMMS team and assigning appropriate resources to projects and activities.

Core responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with facility safety, health, environmental, and contractor safety requirements across all assets.
• Support team members and pre-operation activities as directed by management.

• Develop and maintain CMMS technical documents, procedures, systems, and programs.
• Drive continuous improvement in CMMS integrity management.

• Support the implementation, verification, and auditing of CMMS quality management systems across all assets.

HSEQ Requirements and Code of Conduct

• Ensure Operations Support Group contractors comply with all MODEC-mandated safety requirements.
• Follow MODEC HSEQ policies, standards, procedures, and duty-of-care obligations to protect people and the environment.

• Comply with MODEC’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and complete all required training.

• CMMS Technical review and assessment of changes to CMMS operations, operational procedures and practices.
• Assist in the selection of contractors as and when requested.

• Review of compilation of computer maintenance management system as required.
• Research, analysis and generation of relevant internal reports.

Work Relationships

• Reports directly to the HOD, Information Management.
• Liaise with offshore facilities as necessary to define tasks and to establish equipment and system performance.

• Shall work closely in a coordinating function with Project team members in pre-ops phases of new facilities coming into the field.
• Liaise with CMMS users onshore and offshore.

• Work closely with engineers within the operation support group.
• Maintain contact with Professional CMMS providers and industry groups to keep up to date with issues and developments in technologies and procedures.

Requirements

• Marine, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering
• 5-10 Year Experience in Oil and Gas Offshore Operations with a strong background in Maintenance Management.

• Working knowledge in the application of AS/NZ 9001 and /or ISO 9001 / 14001 / 14224.
• Broad understanding of Computer Maintenance & Management Systems and the maintenance of these systems.
