Commercial Manager – FOTON | Uganda

Mobikey is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Manager to lead the development and growth of the FOTON brand in Uganda. This role will be responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market presence, and developing strategic relationships across key sectors including transportation, logistics, construction, and commercial vehicles.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening FOTON's position in the Ugandan market while ensuring sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across the Ugandan market. Build and manage relationships with corporate customers, fleet operators, and key accounts. Develop sales opportunities within the logistics, transportation, construction, and distribution sectors. Lead commercial negotiations and successfully close business deals. Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure achievement of commercial targets. Monitor and participate in tenders, projects, and large-scale business opportunities. Coordinate closely with after-sales, parts, and workshop teams to ensure excellent customer support. Establish and strengthen partnerships with financial institutions to facilitate customer financing solutions. Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer insights to support business strategy.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, truck, or related industry. Proven knowledge of the Ugandan market and its commercial vehicle landscape. Strong business development, negotiation, and deal-closing skills. Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and large fleet customers. Results-oriented mindset with a strong commercial focus. Excellent communication and relationship management abilities. Fluent in English.
