Job Title: Loans Officer – (05 Positions)
Reports To: Branch Manager
Department: Credit Operations Department

Job Purpose
The Loans Officer will be responsible for marketing, appraising, onboarding, monitoring, and recovering loans while ensuring sustainable portfolio growth and maintaining high portfolio quality in line with MN HITTA Financial Services’ credit policies and performance standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Market all HITTA loan products to potential clients. Identify and mobilize viable clients and business groups within assigned areas. Grow and manage an assigned loan portfolio in line with approved branch targets. Conduct thorough credit appraisal and prepare detailed loan applications in accordance with the company’s credit policy. Ensure proper documentation and compliance before loan disbursement. Monitor loan utilization and performance to maintain high portfolio quality. Follow up on repayments and ensure timely collections. Implement recovery strategies for delinquent accounts. Organize client sensitization meetings and financial literacy engagements. Submit accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports. Maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and portfolio sustainability.

Computer literacy (MS Office and digital reporting tools).
Qualifications, Skills & Experience A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Microfinance, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any related field from a recognized institution. At least one (1) year of experience in microfinance, lending, or field-based credit operations is an added advantage. Willingness and ability to work extensively in the field.
