Waku Waku Izakaya is looking for a charming and organized waitress/waiter!

Waku Waku Izakaya is a Japanese pub and restaurant with a big heart. We serve a wide selection of Japanese drinks and small dishes in tapas style, perfect for sharing with friends. With us, community is at the center, both within the team and among the guests.

Lunch:

Monday–Friday: 11:00–14:30

Evenings:

Wednesday & Thursday: 17:00–22:00

Friday & Saturday: 17:00–01:00

Sunday–Tuesday: Closed

We are looking for you who want to work in service during lunch and evening hours! We are looking for a social and self-driven person who wants to become part of our tight team on the floor. You like to take responsibility, are passionate about service, and make guests feel at home, without losing your overview when things get busy.

About the position: We are looking for you who takes ownership of your work environment and understands that a pleasant atmosphere is created as much through personal service as through a flawless and clean environment in the dining room, bar, and common areas.

You will work with table service, drink recommendations, drink mixing, and creating a pleasant atmosphere in the bar and dining room. You will also help with setting tables, dishwashing, and simple cleaning, as well as being responsible for ensuring we have all the necessary materials, such as drinks and consumables.

Working hours (approx. 36–40 hours/week):

Monday–Friday: 11:00–15:00 (20 hours/week) Wednesday–Saturday: 17:00–approx. 21:00 (approx. 16 hours/week)

Language skills: You need to be able to speak fluent English. Swedish is a plus, but not a requirement. Guest contact is a central part of the role.
