As part of the Mitsubishi Chemical Group, Mitsubishi Polyester Film GmbH produces polyester films (HOSTAPHAN) for industrial high-tech applications and medical-pharmaceutical products, packaging films for food, and since 2014, aluminum composite panels (ALPOLIC) for the construction sector and signage. About the role: For our production area, we are looking for a dedicated individual who takes responsibility, further develops technical processes, and continuously improves the performance of our production plants together with our team.
Your tasks
Control and optimization of our film production plant for the manufacture of high-quality polyester films – for an efficient and reliable production process. Ensuring a smooth production process while considering quality, deadlines, costs, and occupational safety. Technical leadership and coordination of employees in the production area as well as promoting constructive and performance-oriented cooperation. Analysis of production processes and plant performance as well as identification and implementation of sustainable improvement potentials. Responsibility for compliance with our high standards in the areas of occupational safety, health, environmental, and quality management. Close cooperation with engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure efficient and trouble-free production operations. Active participation in projects for process optimization and further development of our production plants – with room for your own ideas and impulses.

Your profile
A successfully completed degree in Maschinenbau, Verfahrenstechnik, Chemieingenieurwesen, or a comparable technical field Initial professional experience in an industrial production environment – ideally with reference to production processes and plants Knowledge in Lean Management and/or Six Sigma; a Green Belt certification is an advantage Strong technical understanding as well as an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working Initiative, communication skills, and team spirit as well as enjoyment in driving improvements forward together with others Good English skills in speaking and writing; German skills are an advantage
