The "Pyramida" Construction and Design company of the MITSIS Group, is seeking: Project Engineer - Civil Engineer

Location: Rhodes Employment Type: Permanent/Full-time

Purpose:

The Project Engineer/ Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing technical projects, on-site at the project, ensuring compliance with quality and aesthetic specifications. This role requires collaboration with the Project Management, the Design and Technical Office of the company, with the aim of executing projects and achieving the strategic goals of Mitsis Group.

Responsibilities:

• Implements the control of the Static Studies in their entirety, in combination with the Architectural and Electromechanical study. Drafts the required technical reports for the objects of their responsibility, ensuring the correct implementation of the studies.
• Performs quantity take-offs and drafts the necessary work items and materials, contributing to the techno-economic evaluation by the Project Management, the timely procurement of required materials, and the timely implementation of works.
• Schedules the required works on a total, monthly, weekly, and daily basis. Communicates the schedule to the Project Management and partners for approval and implementation.
• Supervises on-site the execution of works and coordinates the technical staff and crews, ensuring their safe, timely, and efficient completion.
• Communicates with the Project Management, supervising partners, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring adherence to schedules and the continuous flow of materials to the project.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the entire construction period.
• Studies and organizes works that fall within their technical field and are necessary for the execution of the project, but are not included in the contractual study and work documents.
• Prepares, records, and communicates project progress to the management, ensuring continuous updates and transparency in its management.
• Ensures the application of construction quality standards and the use of appropriate construction techniques.
• Collaborates with other departments of the Group and provides technical support when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Excellent knowledge of Autocad and Office programs (Project Management and Revit tools are considered an additional qualification).
• Good knowledge of English (oral & written).
• Ability to solve technical issues and manage work teams.
• Ability to travel depending on the needs of the project.
