Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Power generation Hire Job reference Number: 504718-2006-26280 Industry Sector: Rental Market, Hire Industry, Power Generation, Generators, Handling Equipment, Service & Parts, Battery Energy Storage, Plant Hire, HVAC, Pumps, Technical Building Products, FM Services, Data Centres, M&E Contractors, Infrastructure, Construction, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage Areas to be covered: West Scotland Remuneration: £50,000- £60,000 Neg. + up to £12,000 Quarterly Bonuses + 2% Commission on new business Benefits: £550 per month car allowance or Fully expensed EV or Hybrid Car & full benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager – Construction Plant Hire Sales will involve: Field sales role, selling the hire of power generators and also battery systems 50% new business development 50% account managing and developing an existing portfolio of customers Typical sectors include FM services, data centres, M&E contractors, infrastructure, construction New sectors might include manufacturing, food & beverage etc. Projects from £1,000 per week rental income up to £25,000 per week rental income During your initial 6 month probation you will undergo a comprehensive induction programme alongside training development After 6 months you will enter the bonus scheme and be targeted to achieve £1.4m Budget management and achievement of area turnover target Internal reporting using CRM (salesforce) systems Forecast and sales analysis Management of negotiations and commercial offers
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Construction Plant Hire Sales with: Proven track record selling the hire of technical products, such as engineered products, construction products, HVAC products etc. Some sector experience and contacts within; FM services, data centres, M&E contractors, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, food & beverage etc. preferred Power generation equipment knowledge is not essential Hire/ rental market awareness Go getter/ strong work ethic Open to most construction hire equipment backgrounds Technically competent Great communication CRM/ IT Literate Ability to work independently Pro-active new business minded The Company: Well established 100+ employees Circa £30m+ UK turnover
