Immediate Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and successful business, who are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a varied and hands-on position, reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller and working closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business. The Management Accountant will play an important role in providing accurate and meaningful financial information to support business performance and decision-making. Alongside the core month-end responsibilities, you'll be involved in financial analysis, VAT, balance sheet reconciliations, costing and reporting, with the opportunity to identify trends, highlight areas for improvement and contribute to the continued efficiency of the finance function. Skills Needed Extensive experience within a similar Management Accountant role, with strong experience across month-end accounting.

Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and experience with journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.

Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems, with Sage experience highly advantageous.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify variances, investigate trends and provide meaningful financial insight.
