Accounts Payable Clerk

Your tasks

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a successful organisation and support a busy finance function. You'll play an important role in ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, payments are made within agreed deadlines and supplier accounts are kept up to date. Working closely with suppliers and internal departments, you'll investigate and resolve invoice queries, obtain the necessary approvals and assist with payment runs, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function.

Requirements

Skills Required

• Previous experience within Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable, ideally in a busy finance environment.
• Good understanding of invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and payment runs.
• Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong numerical skills and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• A proactive and reliable approach, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
