In-Kind Donations Specialist

Job Summary: Misr El Kheir Foundation is looking for a motivated and organized In-Kind Donations Specialist to join our Fundraising Sector.

Job Purpose: The In-Kind Donations Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the in-kind donation's function, ensuring the effective identification, acquisition, processing, documentation, and utilization of in-kind contributions in alignment with the Foundation’s mission, strategic priorities, and programmatic needs. The role will also contribute to building strong relationships with donors and ensuring that in-kind donations are effectively directed to areas of genuine organizational need.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the in-kind donations function within the Fundraising Sector.

Develop and implement objectives and action plans for in-kind donations in alignment with the Foundation’s strategic direction.

Identify and assess ongoing organizational needs for in-kind donations in coordination with relevant sectors and departments.

Identify potential sources of in-kind donations and support efforts to attract and secure relevant contributions from companies, institutions, suppliers, and individual donors.

Build and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential in-kind donors.

Coordinate the end-to-end in-kind donation process, from donor engagement and donation offers through approval, receipt, documentation, allocation, and closure.

Develop, review, and maintain policies, procedures, guidelines, and workflows governing in-kind donations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of in-kind donations, donor information, donation status, utilization, and related documentation.

Manage and continuously update the in-kind donor database.

Monitor and track in-kind donation activities and donor engagement, preparing periodic reports and analyzing donation data.

Coordinate with relevant sectors and departments to ensure the appropriate utilization and timely distribution of in-kind donations.

Prepare regular management reports covering donation volumes, donor engagement, utilization, and relevant performance indicators.

Ensure proper documentation and filing of all in-kind donation records and supporting documents.

Contribute to initiatives that enhance the Foundation’s capacity to attract, manage, and maximize the value of in-kind donations.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Fundraising, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.

2–4 years of relevant experience in fundraising, in-kind donations, donor relations, business development, partnerships, or a related field.

Previous experience in managing or coordinating in-kind donations is highly preferred.

Good understanding of fundraising practices, donor engagement, and donation management processes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with donors and inter.
