Job Descriptions

• Perform 3D mechanical design of ATEX / IECEX explosionproof mobile vehicles (electrically powered or diesel engines powered)
• Perform 3D mechanical design of ATEX / IECEX explosionproof diesel engines equipment for the marine offshore oil & gas industry (compressors, generator sets, pumps, etc)
• Perform mechanical design and calculation for steel support brackets, bolt & nuts consumables, fabrication and welding
• Reverse engineering from as built
• Specify components selection
• Generate part numbers and BOMs
• Generate manuals
• Generate engineering specifications and checklists to ensure “right first time” design approach
• Work on standardization processes and cost reduction processes as required
• Standardize / improve / document design work processes

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree in the mechanical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field
• Machinery 3D design knowledge
• Excellent in 3D solid works or AutoCAD or equivalent
• Design and compliance focus with extreme attention to detail
• Ability to read the mechanical technical drawing
• Ability to use the MS. Office package (word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook)
• Able to work in a design office environment
• Able to meet deadlines and work to a plan
• Highly organized and methodical
• Used to work following job orders
• Good interaction and teamwork, good interpersonal skills, willingness to take short trips
