Job Summary The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, including shipment coordination, customs clearance, documentation, transportation, warehouse arrangements and delivery of furniture and materials to project sites. The role ensures that all shipments and deliveries are properly coordinated and completed within the required project timelines. Key Responsibilities Coordinate local and overseas shipments of furniture, materials, fittings and equipment. Handle import and export arrangements, including customs clearance and related procedures. Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation, including invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, permits and other relevant documents. Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs agents, suppliers and transport companies on shipment arrangements and clearance matters. Track shipment status and follow up on delays, customs issues, documentation discrepancies and other logistical matters. Coordinate transportation, delivery schedules and unloading arrangements for furniture and materials. Arrange site deliveries according to project and installation schedules, including loading bay, lift access and site-entry requirements. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, installers, warehouse personnel and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and installation. Coordinate the movement and deployment of installation teams, tools and equipment to project sites where required. Coordinate with warehouse personnel on receiving, checking, storage and dispatch of furniture and materials. Verify quantities and conditions of goods received and report shortages, damages or discrepancies. Arrange return shipments, replacement items or re-delivery of damaged, incorrect or defective items when required. Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs clearance, delivery orders, transportation arrangements and related logistics documents. Monitor logistics costs and ensure proper documentation for freight, transportation, customs and other related charges. Ensure all required permits, supporting documents and approvals are obtained before shipment or delivery. Assist in resolving urgent logistics issues and last-minute delivery or site requirements. Maintain proper filing of logistics and shipping records for audit and project reference. Perform other logistics, administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field. At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, preferably in furniture, interior fit-out, renovation or construction. Experience in customs clearance, import/export documentation and freight coordination . Familiarity with shipping documents, customs procedures and local delivery requirements. Good organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, transporters and project teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general logistics documentation. Able to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Able to work independently and resolve logistics issues promptly. Willing to travel to warehouses and project sites when required. Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking suppliers and vendors.
