Research and Development Worker / Research and Development Worker, Geographers

We require:

• university education in a master's degree program in the field of geodesy and cartography, geoinformatics or related fields
• active knowledge of the English language, STANAG SLP 2222 or equivalent
• at least 5 years of experience in the fields of: geography, cartography, geoinformatics or related fields
• criminal record clearance.

It is an advantage:

• experience and knowledge in solving applied development tasks
• postgraduate university education
• above-standard knowledge of the ArcGIS SW environment
• experience in the field of geodesy, preferably with Úřední oprávnění zeměměřického inženýra (ÚOZI)
• experience in designing and creating software and information services in the fields of geography and cartography, preferably in the Python environment
• experience in designing and creating geographic information databases
• published professional texts
• knowledge of another world language.

We offer:

• Employment contract for a fixed term of 1 year with the possibility of changing the employment contract to an indefinite term
• salary evaluation in the 13th salary grade, salary scale according to NV no. 564/2006
• classification level: vyhrazené
• 5 weeks of vacation, 5 days of indisposition leave
• use of FKSP, meals on-site
• start possible from 1.9. 2026.
