Junior Back Office Analyst

Minerva Foods is a leader in beef export in South America and also operates in the processed products segment, marketing its products to more than 100 countries. In addition to Brazil, Minerva Foods is present in Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, and Colombia, and has specialized sheep plants in Australia. In 2015, the Company established a new business area with the goal of operating in the Brazilian electricity market. Minerva Energy stands out among the largest electricity traders in the country, operating with energy purchase and sale operations in the Ambiente de Contratação Livre (ACL). The offered position is for Minerva Energy and aims to provide support to the operational and administrative routines of the business, ensuring the correct execution of the processes that sustain energy purchase and sale operations. This is an opportunity aimed at professionals at the beginning of their careers who wish to develop knowledge in the electricity sector and who have a degree in areas such as Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Accounting. The sought profile combines attention to detail, organization, analytical capacity to deal with information and reports, as well as good communication and a willingness to learn in a dynamic and regulated environment. Intermediate mastery of office tools, especially Excel, is valued, as well as proactivity and interest in growing within a constantly evolving market.

Responsibilities and duties

1. Billing: Support monthly billing processes, working together with other analysts in the area to ensure the correct issuance of invoices and the fiscal formalization of all operations carried out by the Commercial team. The work includes checking information, interfacing with internal systems, and monitoring issuance and sending deadlines.
2. Internal order and approval obligations: Execute, monitor, and control obligations related to internal financial processes, such as the opening and approval of orders, authorization flows, and records in ERP, ensuring alignment with Minerva's corporate policies. The role will occur in direct interface with the company's ERP systems, ensuring traceability and compliance of operations.
3. CCEE Processes: Support the registration of energy contracts in the CLIQCCEE system, including contract creation, data validation, volume adjustments, and checking rectifications. The goal is to ensure that all operations are duly formalized with the Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica, in compliance with the established rules and deadlines.
4. Registrations: Act as the interface point between Minerva Comercializadora and the Registration area of Minerva S.A., being responsible for collecting and organizing the documentation necessary for the registration of new customers and suppliers. It will also monitor the flow until the conclusion of the process, ensuring agility and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
5. Contractual obligations: Control and monitor various contractual obligations, such as payments of late penalties, reimbursement of tariff discounts (RETUSD), and other charges. Such activities will be conducted through the ERP of Minerva Comercializadora, ensuring the correct registration and fulfillment of the signed contractual conditions.
6. Control and support reports: Perform the control and checking of accounting, financial settlement, measurement, penalties, auctions, and contract reports, extracted from CCEE systems and internal tools. These reports must be critically analyzed, organized, and reported to the other levels of the Back Office area, contributing to the transparency of operations and support for decision-making.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed higher education in: Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting;
• Intermediate English, with the ability to understand basic documents and communications.
• Mastery of basic financial mathematics.
• Knowledge of the Office Package, especially: Excel (for control routines, calculations, and analyses).
