We are looking for a Mechanical Equipment Inspector to work at Mineração Vale Verde, located in the municipality of Craíbas/AL. Responsibilities and duties

• Participate in the preparation and review of the mechanical maintenance plan in the SM – Sistema de Manutenção, always staying updated with the established standards;
• Responsible for the monitoring, tracking, and inspection of the mechanical equipment of the MVV unit: Primary, secondary, and tertiary crushers, screenings, belt conveyors, mills, pumps, flotation cells, filters, and other static or rotating mechanical equipment;
• Identify all critical activities with planning and consolidate the schedule of activities planned to be executed in weekly, monthly, and Major Shutdown schedules;
• Execute or monitor destructive and non-destructive testing;
• Determine the causes and mechanisms of damage (Failure Analysis), and write inspection reports and technical recommendations;
• Comply with the inspection planning/program;
• Present reports based on technical standards and procedures;
• Monitor maintenance services and not allow poor quality;
• Participate in alignment meetings with operation/production, to collect information regarding the performance and operational conditions of the equipment; Identify improvement opportunities for optimization of time, cost, quality, and safety;
• Maintain inspection equipment in good working condition;
• Prepare and control the progress of inspection programs and plans;
• Act with a focus on detecting improvements for process optimization;
• Control and quality of repairs, manufacturing, and assembly of static equipment/piping;
• Organization of all documentation for quality control and auditing purposes.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed high school;
• Technical training in mechanics or electromechanics;
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems;
• Basic knowledge of Beneficiamento processes;
• Mechanical equipment inspection techniques;
• Knowledge of inspection instruments (Vibration Analyzer and Ultrasound);
• Negotiation techniques;
• Technical English;
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Windows.
