Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and hygiene environment for children.
- Identify the importance of routine activities and transitions.
- Follow daily schedule and understand the predictability for young children.
- Observe and respond to children’s initiations and requests, including nonverbal cues.
- Use care-giving activities such as diapering and dressing, as an opportunity to foster healthy development through positive adult/child interactions.
- Recognise the importance of sensory experiences, exploration and play in children’s growth and learning.
- Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.
- Ensure Champs' safety in all areas and activities. E.g.: Champs are to be supervised at all times.
- Ensure all Champs’ hygiene at all times. E.g.: Proper hand washing and food handling habits.
- Assist class teachers in maintenance of classroom to adhere to safety and hygiene regulations. E.g.: refilling hygiene items like tissue and sanitiser and regular toy washing.
- Report any damage/safety hazards in classroom to class teachers.
- Ensure children are within sight, hearing, and easy reach of staff.
Job Requirements:
- Ideally EY1/EY2-certified (holds HCIC/ACEY)
- Creative and inspiring with loving energy
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
