Clinical/ Educational Psychologist (Locum)

Responsibilities Assess and provide a formal diagnosis of children's developmental conditions e.g. Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc. through a written report Conduct IQ and adaptive tests, and provide reports for enrolment in Special Education schools Help recommend parents on school options Assess and intervene for anxiety, mood disorders, anger management, etc. (for clinical psychologist) Provide exemption of second language or accommodation for children with learning challenges, where needed Recommend parents on the educational path of a child with neurodiverse needs Provide psychological/ behavioural intervention Provide parent training to parents of children with developmental needs on topics such as emotional regulation, behavioural management, etc.

Requirements SPS Registered Masters in Psychology Has extensive experience in the field of Child Psychology, esp. in the area of neuro-divergence Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially on coaching parents where necessary
