Fashion Designer / Product Developer - Women's Fashion Store

Mimpi Mannis is looking for a Fashion Designer / Product Developer to join our creative and production team in Bali. You will work closely with the Director to develop new collections from initial concept and inspiration through to final design and sampling. Responsibilities include: designing women's and children's clothing; preparing sketches and design details; developing colourways and fabric combinations; creating clear technical information for patterns and sampling; reviewing samples and fit; making design corrections; working closely with the pattern maker and sample maker throughout the development process; and maintaining organised collection and style information. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for fashion design, good garment-construction knowledge, technical drawing skills, and a creative approach with strong attention to detail and an understanding of how to translate a design concept into a finished garment. Experience in women's resortwear and/or childrenswear would be a strong advantage.
