Floor Captain
Description We are looking for an experienced Floor Captain to join our team for the new opening of The Common Uluwatu. The Floor Captain will support the pre-opening preparation and daily front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent service standards and smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pre-opening preparation, mock service, soft opening, and launch operations.
- Lead and coordinate the service team during daily operations.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure team readiness.
- Maintain service standards, SOPs, cleanliness, and restaurant presentation.
- Ensure excellent guest experience and handle guest requests or concerns.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Bar, Host, and Management teams.
- Assist with team training, coaching, and onboarding.
- Monitor staff grooming, attendance, discipline, and performance.
- Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in restaurant/hospitality operations.
- Previous experience as a Floor Captain, Senior Waiter/Waitress, or similar role.
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest-service skills.
- Good knowledge of F&B service standards.
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English is preferred.
- Willing to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
