Operations Specialist
About the Position: This position is located at Desmond T Doss Health Clinic, located on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Major duties
- Serve as the lead Operations officer, responsible to plan and execute medical operations for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for the overall operations of Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) functions to include coordination with both active and reserve components.
- Prepare, coordinate, execute, and review plans for emergency management operations, including the MTF Emergency Operations Plan (EOP).
- Provide daily oversight of personnel assigned to support Plans, training, mobilization and security operations division programs and activities.
- Serve as the MTF Liaison Officer (LNO) to all tenant units and agencies. Represent the MTF at all planning meetings, committees and Command updates with supported units.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes planning and executing medical readiness operations; participating in emergency operations planning, exercises, and crisis response within a healthcare facility; and monitoring operational taskers and staff workflows. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level in the federal service (GS-11).
