About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital on Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Major duties

  • Responsible to the Training section of the Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (PTMS) Department for the management of students training at Evans Army Community Hospital.
  • Maintains accountability of students’ training files and independently manages institutional deadlines, priorities, and projects accomplished in support of the clinical rotations.
  • Independently analyzes MEDCOM guidelines covering various aspects of military and graduate medical training.
  • Coordinates and manages rotation schedules to include Health Professions Scholarship Program, Physician Assistants, Army Nurse Practitioner Program, Nurse Midwife, civilian and military residents, graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Compiles reports, establishes and maintains suspense files to ensure required actions and responses are made within deadlines.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes inputting and exporting data from reports to track program requirements, scheduling appointments and utilizing automated systems to complete administrative tasks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration or Healthcare Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
