Yard Technician

Job Summary : Midsouth Rentals LLC is a progressive family-owned rental company that has an opening for a full-time Yard Technician at its Hendersonville, TN location. Job duties include checking in equipment, cleaning machines, and assisting mechanics with routine services. This is a great entry-level position that offers room for growth and potential advancement that could lead to a role as a mechanic or driver within the company. Qualifications: Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must pass a pre-employment drug test and physical exam Previous experience with operating or working on construction equipment preferred but not required Must possess a willingness to learn Self-motivated and driven for success Must have strong customer service skills Responsibilities: Assist with the pre- & post-rental cleaning and inspection of construction equipment Technicians must be willing to learn and perform basic service tasks such as lubrication of moving parts, fluid level checks, etc. Technicians must have excellent customer service skills and communication skills Physical Requirements: Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50 pounds regularly Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED - REQUIRED Customer Service Experience - REQUIRED Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment a plus but not required Hourly Rate Range: $18.00 - $22.00 Pay Based on Experience Some overtime hours as needed.
