Must-have:SecurityLead

MicroVision, a leader in advanced perception solutions for industrial, security and defense, and automotive applications, seeks a Marketing Manager to join our team in Orlando and help drive the next phase of the company’s commercial growth. MicroVision delivers advanced sensing, perception, and photonics solutions for some of the world’s most demanding applications. With technologies spanning lidar, perception software, and advanced photonics, MicroVision serves customers across industrial, security and defense, automotive, and intelligent infrastructure markets.

As MicroVision expands its commercial footprint and brings new technologies to market, we are looking for an experienced marketing leader to help translate highly technical capabilities into compelling market stories, customer engagement, and commercial opportunities. This is a hands-on role for a marketing professional who is equally comfortable developing strategy and executing it; working closely with product, sales, engineering, business development, marketing and corporate communications to build market awareness, support customer acquisition, accelerate opportunities, and position MicroVision’s technologies across key markets. Our ideal candidate knows how to market complex technology to sophisticated B2B and government audiences and can turn technical differentiation into clear, compelling customer value.

In this role, you will: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies supporting MicroVision’s growth priorities and commercial pipeline; Build go-to-market plans for products, technologies, market segments, and strategic initiatives; Translate complex technical capabilities into differentiated messaging, positioning, and customer-facing narratives; Partner closely with sales and business development to develop campaigns, tools, content, and programs that create and accelerate opportunities; Lead demand-generation and account-based marketing initiatives targeting priority customers and markets; Develop high-impact sales enablement materials, including presentations, product collateral, case studies, videos, demonstrations, and digital content; Plan and execute industry events, trade shows, customer demonstrations, webinars, and other market-facing programs; Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand technology roadmaps, customer requirements, and competitive differentiation; Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and inform commercial strategy; Manage digital marketing programs, including website content, email, social media, paid campaigns, and marketing automation; Establish KPIs and measurement systems to evaluate marketing performance, pipeline contribution, engagement, and ROI; Manage external agencies, partners, vendors, budgets, and project timelines as needed; and Support broader corporate communications and thought-leadership initiatives in partnership with the communications team.

Success in this role requires: 8-10 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, ideally within advanced technology, defense, aerospace, autonomy, robotics, sensing, semiconductor, photonics, automotive, or related industries; Demonstrated experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for complex technical products; Strong product marketing skills, including positioning, messaging, segmentation, competitive analysis, and sales enablement; Experience partnering directly with sales and business development teams to support pipeline development and revenue growth; Ability to understand sophisticated technologies and communicate their value clearly to technical and non-technical audiences; Experience marketing to enterprise, industrial, government, defense, or other complex buying environments is highly desirable; Strong writing, presentation, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills; Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-moving environment; and A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree a plus.

The Person Who Will Thrive Here You are curious about technology and motivated by turning innovation into commercial impact. You ask questions, learn quickly, and can move comfortably between engineers, sales leaders, customers, executives, and creative partners.

You don't need a large team or layers of infrastructure to get things done. You see what needs to happen, bring the right people together, and drive work forward. You are comfortable operating both strategically and tactically – you build the plan and then help execute it.

Most importantly, you understand that great technology marketing isn't about simplifying the technology until the differentiation disappears. It's about understanding what makes the technology matter – and telling that story in a way that moves customers to action.
