You are responsible for the management and further development of a geochemical laboratory (sample preparation, GC-FID, GC-C-IRMS) for the analysis of microbiological and geochemical processes.
- Management of the geochemical laboratory
- Preparation, analysis, and evaluation of laboratory and environmental samples
- Maintenance and adjustment of equipment
- Scientific work in research projects
- Detailed sample post-processing and data preparation of isotope data
- Data interpretation and reporting
Your profile:
- University degree (M.Sc./Diplom) in Biochemistry, Geochemistry, or a similar field
- Practical experience with Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry
- Practical experience with isotope ratio analysis
- Practical experience with hydrocarbon geochemistry
- Strong professional competence for the field of activity
- Knowledge in statistics and data quality management
- Independent working style, passion for experimentation, curiosity, and creativity
- Organizational skills and technical understanding
- Flexible and interdisciplinary thinking and working
- Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
