STAFF PRODUCT OWNER, COST PILLAR, SMAI

As an AI Product Owner, Cost Transformation, you will lead enterprise-wide cost optimization initiatives across Front-End (Wafer Fab) and Back-End (Assembly & Test) operations. You will work with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Cost, and Program Management organizations to identify cost opportunities and deliver AI-driven solutions that improve productivity, spend visibility, and business performance.  This role requires broad semiconductor operations knowledge, procurement expertise, and the ability to connect operational, sourcing, and financial perspectives to deliver sustainable cost improvements.  Main Responsibilities   Drive identification, prioritization, and implementation of AI-enabled cost optimization opportunities across Front-End and Back-End operations. 

Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Central Cost, and Site teams to identify strategic and operational savings opportunities. 

Lead development of business cases, ROI assessments, and value realization frameworks. 

Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions. 

Analyze operational, supply chain, sourcing, and cost data to uncover actionable insights and optimization levers. 

Support value engineering, commercial, and productivity improvement initiatives. 

Establish governance for tracking financial impact and business outcomes. 

Drive stakeholder alignment and organizational adoption of implemented solutions. 

Other & AI Responsibilities   Identify emerging AI and analytics opportunities across manufacturing and procurement functions. 

Support development of enterprise cost intelligence capabilities. 

Promote responsible use of generative AI and advanced analytics. 

Share best practices and scale successful solutions globally. 

Candidate Profile / Job Requirements   Minimum Qualifications   Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline. 

5+ years of experience in cost management, procurement, operations, manufacturing, or transformation programs. 

Mandatory experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Cost Engineering, or Cost Transformation initiatives. 

Experience driving cross-functional projects involving operations, procurement, and finance stakeholders. 

Strong understanding of Front-End and/or Back-End semiconductor operations. 

Strong business acumen with proven ability to develop value cases and deliver measurable outcomes. 

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 

Preferred Qualifications   Experience across both Front-End and Back-End semiconductor environments. 

Experience in AI, analytics, digital transformation, or smart manufacturing initiatives. 

Knowledge of value engineering, should-cost modeling, category management, and supplier economics.
