Facilities Control Technician

Key Responsibilities:   Ensure strict compliance with  environmental, health, and safety (EHS)  standards across all control activities. 

Perform  routine and preventive maintenance  on control systems ranging from  PLC, LSS (Life Safety system), FAS (Fire alarm system), Instrumentation  and related Control systems, etc.   

Support  commissioning and startup  of new control systems and infrastructure upgrades. 

Identify and fix electrical problems using structured solving steps or procedures. 

Conduct  risk assessments and FMEA  to identify and mitigate potential system failures. 

Maintain accurate documentation of control systems, maintenance records, and compliance reports. 

Mentor junior technicians and participate in  technical training programs  to elevate team capabilities. 

Support deployment of  SMART diagnostics tools  and digital systems to improve maintenance efficiency and system intelligence. 

Qualifications:   Education: Diploma in Electrical & Control Engineering or equivalent technical certification. 

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in control maintenance and operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments. 

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC/Instrumentation/FAS/LSS systems, electrical schematics, and safety codes. Familiarity with ETAP, IEC standards, and predictive maintenance tools is a plus. 

Communication: Effective communicator with strong teamwork and documentation skills. 

Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues independently and collaboratively.
