Job Description
1.Machine Operation
- Perform complex machine setups.
- Set up, operate machining equipment (e.g., Milling, Turning, Grinding EDM, Wire cut etc.) according to production schedules.
- Monitor machine parameters and production cycles to ensure consistent output.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of machines.
2.Manual Operation
- Performs secondary processes including deburring, Assembly, Part washing etc
- Operate conventional machine such as Manual Milling, Turning etc.
- Other machining equipment, Brazing, Sandblasting etc.
- Set up tooling's
3.Quality Assurance
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Follow quality control procedures and document inspection results.
- Report non‑conformities and assist in root cause analysis.
4.Maintenance & Safety
- Conduct daily cleaning and preventive maintenance of machines.
- Adhere to workplace safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazard reporting.
- Support troubleshooting and escalate mechanical issues to Supervisors.
5.Production Support
- Record production data (cycle times, scrap rates, output quantities).
- Assist in material handling (loading rubber compounds, removing finished parts).
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
Requirements
1.Education
- Secondary school or equivalent
- Nitec / Diploma/ Vocational training in manufacturing preferred
2.Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year working experience in machining or related manufacturing environment
3.Job-Specific Skills and Knowledge :
- Strong hands-on experience in machining operations
- Technical knowledge of machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
