Responsibilities and assignments

• Prepare specifications, documentation, and technical reports related to product development, homologation, research, and evaluation.
• Prepare and execute hardware, firmware, and software test plans and notebooks, ensuring the quality and reliability of solutions.
• Analyze and diagnose technical problems, using root cause analysis methodologies, such as Pareto, FCA, and similar, proposing action plans and improvements.
• Perform technical specification of equipment, accessories, and peripherals, gathering requirements and defining communication protocols.
• Develop and/or monitor the development of hardware, firmware, and embedded systems applied to automotive equipment.
• Develop software and tools for test environments and jigs, using languages such as C/C++.
• Participate in and lead multidisciplinary projects involving different areas of the company.
• Monitor projects considering the solution in a systemic way, from embedded devices to their integration with corporate systems and platforms.
• Provide advanced technical support related to hardware, firmware, and devices installed in the field.
• Work together with suppliers, technological partners, and internal teams in the definition, development, homologation, and evolution of products.

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed higher education in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related areas.
• Experience with embedded systems and electronic devices.
• Experience with firmware development or maintenance, preferably in C/C++ with the use of Knowledge of electronic hardware development and analysis.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) applied to firmware development.
• Knowledge of development tools such as IAR, Cube, Visual Studio, Altium Designer, or similar.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Intermediate English.
