Senior Software Architect

Contract type: UoP or B2B (28,000 - 35,000 PLN net / B2B and 26,000 - 32,000 PLN gross / UOP)

Hybrid work: 3 days working from the office / 2 days remotely (Katowice)

Daily tasks

• Defining and developing system architecture across multiple products and services
• Designing scalable, high-performance, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems
• Leading architectural decisions for microservices and event-driven systems
• Establishing and enforcing engineering standards, best practices, and design patterns
• Collaborating with engineering teams to support implementation and solve complex technical problems
• Creating cloud architecture and infrastructure strategies (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes/HashiCorp)
• Ensuring security, reliability, and performance of systems at scale
• Supporting teams in designing services, communication patterns, and integrations
• Conducting architecture reviews and providing technical mentoring
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies where justified

Requirements

Documented experience as a Software Architect or Senior/Lead Engineer in complex systems

Strong technical foundations in backend (Go) and frontend (Angular) technologies

Experience in designing distributed systems, asynchronous communication, and microservices architectures

In-depth knowledge of event-driven architecture (NATS, Kafka)

Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and Kubernetes

Experience with large-scale systems and performance optimization

Very good understanding of system design principles, patterns, and architectural trade-offs

Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions

Readiness for occasional international travel

English level allowing for fluent communication
