Senior Java Developer - IT Contracting

B2B contract with Michael Page, long-term cooperation
Hourly rate - 100-135 PLN/h net+VAT
Daily tasks
- Development and maintenance of backend applications in Java technology for the financial fraud prevention area (Fraud Management)
- Designing, implementing, and developing microservices architecture
- Building and maintaining near real-time data processing solutions using Apache Kafka
- Collaboration with the development team in the Scrum methodology when implementing new functionalities
- Participation in designing technical solutions and ensuring high code quality and maintainability
- Analysis of business requirements in cooperation with Product Owners and project stakeholders
- Creating and updating technical documentation for implemented solutions
- Analysis, profiling, and application performance optimization
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in backend programming in Java
Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and REST and SOAP services
Experience in designing and developing systems based on microservices architecture
Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and solutions based on asynchronous communication
Experience in performance analysis, profiling, and application optimization
Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL (Oracle or similar solutions)
Knowledge of integration patterns and distributed systems
Very good command of English, enabling work in an international environment
Nice to have
Knowledge of NoSQL databases and Redis technology
Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized environments
Knowledge of AWS cloud services, especially AWS Lambda
Experience gained in the banking or financial sector
