Senior Finance Manager/ Finance Director

An established business in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead its financial operations and support strategic decision-making. The position offers a broad remit across financial management, treasury, compliance and commercial finance within a project-driven environment. Client Details Our client is an established organisation operating within the broader industrial and business services sector, with a strong regional presence and a diversified portfolio of activities. Description Reporting into senior leadership, this position will be responsible for: * Leading financial management activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. * Ensuring robust financial controls, effective governance and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements. * Overseeing treasury, liquidity, banking relationships and working capital management. * Providing commercial and financial insights to support operational performance, business planning and investment decisions. * Managing statutory audit requirements, tax compliance and financial reporting obligations. * Partnering with operational stakeholders to monitor financial performance, manage costs and identify opportunities for improvement. * Leading and developing team members while promoting accountability and operational efficiency. * Supporting finance transformation initiatives, including process optimisation and improvements to financial systems. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred. * Significant financial management and leadership experience within project-based, capital-intensive or B2B industries. Track record of working within engineering, infrastructure, construction, industrial services or similarly complex operational environments. * A strong background in financial controllership, treasury, cash flow management, reporting and regulatory compliance. * Sound knowledge of IFRS, UAE taxation and relevant regulatory requirements. * Proven experience managing statutory audits and engaging with external auditors (preferably Big4 or Big10) * Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with senior business stakeholders. * Willingness to be based in Abu Dhabi. This role requires physical presence in the offices (which is based in Abu Dhabi)
