Inventory Accounting Manager (M/F)

As Inventory Accounting Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage, support, and develop an accounting team
• Supervise all inventory and merchandise purchase accounting, including the monitoring of FNP, inventory depreciation calculations, and accounting reconciliations.
• Actively participate in monthly and annual closings by ensuring the reliability and accuracy of financial data.
• Analyze discrepancies between accounting and management data, ensure their justification, and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Produce financial reporting and monitor performance indicators related to inventory, purchases, and margin.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support the decision-making of the finance department.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Commercial, Controlling, and other support functions in a continuous improvement logic.
• Drive the monitoring of physical inventories and ensure regular reconciliation of inventory data.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors on all matters related to your scope.
• Participate in transformation projects and process improvements impacting purchase and inventory flows.

• Higher education in accounting, finance, or management
• Significant experience in accounting, with recognized expertise in inventory accounting, purchasing, and margin issues.
• First experience in managing an accounting team.
• Mastery of closing processes and accounting reconciliation work.
• Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and respect for deadlines.
• Good command of IT tools, notably Google Sheets; sensitivity to AI topics is appreciated.
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Fluent English

The compensation and benefits for this position are:

• A salary between €55,000 and €60,000;
• 2 days of remote work per week;
