Project Manager, Corporate Real Estate (1 year contract)

About the company

An established financial services organisation with a significant corporate property footprint is seeking an experienced real estate professional to support strategic workplace and portfolio initiatives. The business offers exposure to complex projects, senior stakeholder engagement and a collaborative working environment.

Your tasks

• Lead high-impact real estate projects in financial services.
• 1 year contract with potential for extension.

• Lead real estate and workplace projects from planning through implementation, handover and review.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks and governance requirements to ensure successful delivery.
• Partner with internal teams, landlords, consultants, contractors and suppliers to execute property-related initiatives.
• Develop business cases, project plans, reporting materials and recommendations for leadership approval.
• Oversee procurement activities, contract administration, supplier performance and commercial negotiations.
• Support portfolio optimisation activities including relocations, refurbishments, fit-outs and workplace improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, sustainability, operational resilience and internal governance standards.

Requirements

A successful 'Project Manager Real Estate' should have

• Proven experience in corporate real estate, workplace strategy, property, facilities or project management.
• Demonstrated track record of independently delivering real estate projects from initiation through completion.
• Strong understanding of commercial property, workplace solutions, fit-outs, relocations and lease-related activities.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, procurement processes, consultants and external vendors.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Degree in a relevant discipline and professional certifications such as RICS, PMP or PRINCE2 would be advantageous.
