Power BI Technical Lead - IT Contracting

Daily tasks

• Designing and developing semantic models, reports, and solutions in Power BI.
• Building and developing data models in dbt and Snowflake along with implementing business logic.
• Designing complex end-to-end analytical solutions, from the data layer to the BI product.
• Optimizing data models, reports, and queries, and resolving production issues.
• Providing technical support to the development team regarding complex architectural and implementation challenges.
• Conducting code reviews, data model reviews, and promoting developer best practices.
• Mentoring team members and developing technical standards.
• Automating development, testing, deployment, and monitoring processes using CI/CD tools, API, and AI.
• Collaborating with international Data & BI teams to implement common solutions and standards.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in the Business Intelligence area and working with Power BI-based solutions.

Experience in the media / telecommunications / OTT industry or subscription products.

Very good knowledge of Power BI, Power BI Service, and semantic models.

Practical experience with DAX and optimization of models and reports.

Very good knowledge of SQL and experience working with dbt.

Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data platform.

Knowledge of dimensional modeling, KPI, and building reusable data models.

Experience with Git, code review, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

Ability to create scripts and work with API (Python, PowerShell, or related technologies).

Practical knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, specifically Power BI, Semantic Models, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Direct Lake, and Pipelines.

Experience with Airflow or similar data orchestration tools.

Knowledge of Liquibase or similar tools for database change management.

Experience with AI-assisted development and knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Very good knowledge of the English language, enabling work in an international environment.
