Daily tasks

• Designing and developing high-performance backend services in Go and Python.
• Creating applications that process large volumes of network data in real-time.
• Designing distributed system architectures and state synchronization mechanisms.
• Analyzing and optimizing the performance of applications, services, and data processing processes.
• Implementing integrations with data transmission and message queuing systems.
• Automating the management of network devices and integrating with solutions from various vendors.
• Building and maintaining solutions operating in Linux and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborating on the design of CI/CD processes, performance tests, and code quality standards.
• Solving complex problems related to the performance, reliability, and scalability of systems.

Requirements

Programming

Very good knowledge of the Go language.

Very good knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio).

Experience in building multi-threaded and high-performance backend applications.

Knowledge of tools for application profiling and optimization.

Quality and good practices

Experience with static code analysis and tools such as mypy and golangci-lint.

Ability to create unit, integration, and performance tests.

Attention to dependency security, vulnerability management, and build process reproducibility.

Computer networks

Very good knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and the L2/L3/L4 network model.

Experience with IPv4, IPv6, VLAN, MTU, packet fragmentation, and network traffic analysis.

Knowledge of telemetry protocols such as IPFIX, NetFlow, and sFlow.

Ability to analyze network traffic using PCAP files.

Experience in automating the configuration of Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Palo Alto network devices.

Data processing

Experience with Protocol Buffers.

Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka.

Experience with columnar or time-series databases (e.g., ClickHouse).

Performance and scalability

Practical knowledge of application profiling and resource utilization optimization.

Experience in load testing and high throughput.

Ability to select appropriate data structures and evaluate design trade-offs.

Systems and infrastructure

Very good knowledge of the Linux system.

Experience with Docker containers and the Kubernetes environment.

Knowledge of issues related to building, deploying, and maintaining applications in production environments.

Experience with inter-process communication (IPC), e.g., ZeroMQ.

English language at a level enabling fluent communication
