Within the Legal Department and reporting directly to the Legal Manager, you will join a specialized team working on matters related to French and international investment funds.
Your main responsibilities include, in particular:
- The preparation, review, and evolution of legal and regulatory documentation relating to investment funds (OPCVM, FIA, employee savings vehicles, and European structures);
- Supporting projects involving the launch, restructuring, merger, transfer, or liquidation of funds;
- Securing contractual relationships with the various partners of the management company: delegates, distributors, depositaries, financial service providers, and institutional clients;
- Drafting and negotiating contracts related to financial management activities and investment services;
- Monitoring the governance and legal obligations of certain investment structures;
- Analyzing and interpreting regulatory developments impacting asset management activities;
- Participating in compliance projects and cross-functional work involving the management, risk, compliance, and operations teams;
- Contributing to the update of internal procedures and the dissemination of legal best practices within the teams.
- Higher education in business law, financial law, or financial markets law;
- At least 3 years of experience acquired within a management company, a financial institution, a law firm, or a depositary;
- Solid mastery of the regulatory framework applicable to investment funds and collective management;
- Knowledge of the employee savings environment is appreciated;
- Professional level of English allowing for development in an international context.
