Project Manager (data experience) - Advanced English

We are looking for a Project Manager with data experience to be incorporated into an indefinite project alongside a leading partner client in Retail

Required Profile:

• Possess at least 3 to 4 years of experience as a Project Manager in data operations.
• Possess experience as a Data engineer or similar roles.
• Professional training in Ingeniería Informática, Ingeniería Civil Informática, Ingeniería de Datos, Computación or a related career.
• At least 4 to 5 years of experience in management and leadership of technological projects, ideally related to Data.
• Experience working with data teams, data platforms, or Data Engineering initiatives.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python.
• Knowledge of Cloud, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of data architecture concepts, integration, information flows, data structures, and data sources.
• Ability to technically understand how different systems and platforms connect and integrate.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, flowcharts, data/indicator dictionaries, and project deliverables.
• Ability to interact with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Functions:

• Lead and coordinate projects associated with the implementation and evolution of the new data platform.
• Act as a bridge between local and international teams (outside of chile), facilitating communication and alignment of requirements.
• Understand the functioning of the data products and solutions currently used.
• Gather, analyze, and document technical and information flows.
• Participate in the definition and documentation of architectures and data structures.
• Prepare and maintain dictionaries of indicators, metrics, and business definitions.
• Coordinate the different phases of the project, identifying progress, dependencies, risks, and critical points.
• Understand how different data sources, platforms, and components must connect and integrate.
• Work alongside Data Engineering, Architecture, Technology, and Business teams.
• Analyze how data will be used and managed within the new platform.
• Generate technical and functional documentation, presentations, requirements gathering, and other project-related deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with established milestones, deliverables, and commitments.
• Translate business requirements to technical teams and facilitate the understanding of technical aspects by business stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings with international teams, primarily in English.
