Head of Risk Prevention Department - Industrial Sector

Important multinational in the industrial sector needs to integrate a Head of Risk Prevention into its team to take responsibility for developing, implementing, and supervising strategies and programs for health and accident prevention, occupational risks, and asset security. Its main objective is the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of possible hazards in the work environment, in order to create a safe and healthy working environment.

Main functions

• Facilitate and direct the SSO team in the deployment of the Work Plan, controlling compliance indicators.
• Manage security contracts, such as guards, alarm systems, cameras, and others.
• Design and deploy a progress reporting strategy for each area, according to plan compliance.
• Verify compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and keep updated the standards defined by the company.
• Guarantee compliance with health protocols established by regulatory entities.
• Coordinate and actively participate in incident investigation processes (CTP, STP, and High potentials).
• Guide active involvement in ISO 45.000.
• Perform systematic and proactive monitoring of the Emergency Response Group plan.
• Deliver guidelines and control SSO plans of contractor and subcontractor companies.
• Establish transversal axes of work in conjunction with the administering organism of law N°16.744.

Requirements:

• Degree in Risk Prevention Engineering or related training with specialization.
• Desirable certification as Auditor in Integrated Management Systems.
• Desirable minimum 5 verifiable years in leadership positions in industrial plants.
• Advanced level English.
