Description
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws across all operations.
- Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations and related documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in customs and trade compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics processes.
- Act as the main point of contact for customs authorities and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and improve internal compliance procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to colleagues on trade compliance matters.
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
Profile
A successful Customs and Trade Compliance Specialist should have:
- Experience in customs and trade compliance within the retail or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and trade documentation requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in trade compliance processes.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £36,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week from home.
- Permanent position in Cambridgeshire.
