Accounting Manager

Your tasks

• Join a financially strong and established business with a proven track record
• Diverse finance role covering reporting, consolidation and controls

• Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities for assigned entities
• Review full sets of accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and supporting schedules
• Prepare and review group consolidation, consolidation adjustments and consolidated financial reporting
• Analyse financial results, investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and Group accounting policies
• Coordinate with external accounting service providers and review reporting deliverables
• Support management reporting requirements and drive timely completion of reporting cycles

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline
• CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• 8+ years of relevant accounting, reporting and consolidation experience
• Prior audit experience with a Big 4 accounting firm preferred
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting standards
• Ability to work independently within a hands-on and operational environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous
• Interest in taking on future people management responsibilities
