For our client, a renowned company in the insurance industry in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a Claims Handler Property Insurance (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

In this responsible position, you will take on the independent processing of complex claims and act as a competent contact person for customers, brokers, experts, and lawyers.

Your Tasks

• Independent processing of national and international claims in the field of property insurance
• Examination of causes of loss, scope of loss, and amount of loss

• Assessment of coverage issues as well as examination of insurance benefits
• Examination and pursuit of possible recourse claims

• Communication and negotiation with brokers, experts, and lawyers
• Development of economic and customer-oriented solutions for complex claim cases

• Documentation and assessment of relevant claim information
• Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and external partners

• Ensuring professional and efficient claims settlement

Your Profile

• Completed training as Kaufmann für Versicherungen und Finanzanlagen (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in claims processing, ideally in the field of property insurance

• Knowledge in the settlement of complex claim cases
• Analytical mindset and structured way of working

• Strong communication skills and negotiation skills
• Proficient use of MS Office

• Good to very good English skills in speaking and writing
• High level of initiative, teamwork, and sense of responsibility

Your Benefits
