Project Buyer (m/f/d) – Bottrop

For our client based in Bottrop, we are looking for a Project Buyer (m/f/d) starting immediately. The entry is via temporary employment. You will receive a permanent employment contract through Michael Page. Our placement as well as all services are free of charge for you.

Your Tasks:

• Development of project-related purchasing strategies and plans
• Identification, selection, and evaluation of suppliers
• Negotiation of prices and contract terms
• Requesting, checking, and evaluating offers
• Conducting tenders and awarding contracts
• Creation of purchase orders, monitoring of delivery dates and quantities, as well as coordination with project participants
• Control of purchasing budgets, identification of savings potential, and conducting cost analyses
• Ensuring the quality of materials and services
• Close cooperation with internal departments (e.g., Development, Engineering, Quality Assurance) and external suppliers

Your Profile:

• Completed commercial or technical training
• Several years of professional experience in project procurement
• Knowledge in the field of VOB / HOAI
• Good IT skills, experience with SAP MM desirable
• Good English skills
• Structured, independent, and result-oriented way of working
