Accounts Payable Accountant (f/m/d) – Witten area

For our client, an internationally active industrial company in the Witten area, we are looking for immediate reinforcement in the field of accounts payable accounting.

The entry is via temporary employment – you will receive a permanent employment contract from Michael Page. Our placement as well as all services are free of charge for you.

Your tasks:

• Checking, coding, and posting incoming invoices
• Processing and managing accounts payable accounts
• Execution and monitoring of payment transactions
• Reconciliation of open items and clarification of discrepancies
• Telephone and written correspondence with suppliers and internal departments
• Maintenance and management of master data in the ERP System
• Checking invoices regarding tax and commercial requirements
• Processing of reminders and balance confirmations
• Support during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Creation of evaluations and reports in the field of accounts payable accounting

Your profile:

• Successfully completed commercial training
• Several years of experience in the field of accounts payable accounting
• Confident handling of ERP systems as well as good MS Office skills
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Structured, independent, and careful way of working
• Teamwork skills as well as strong communication skills when dealing with internal and external contact persons
